Tony Parker left Game 5 for the San Antonio Spurs vs. the Portland Trail Blazers Wednesday with hamstring tightness. After he went to the locker room, GM R.C. Buford and the team doctor went to the back to consult on the situation. In the third quarter, the Spurs announced that Parker is done for the game and will not return.
The hamstring has been a consistent issue for Parker for the last few weeks. He's been receiving treatment and can't seem to kick it. Parker's the engine for San Antonio, but if the Spurs can close out Portland, they can rest him up for the third round.
