The Sacramento Kings intend to put the No. 8 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft on the trading block, according to Scott Howard-Cooper of NBA.com. The Kings have been in the lottery for the better part of a decade and they apparently want to acquire a veteran rather than trying to integrate another young player.

Earlier in the month, Sacramento solicited draft advice from fans in a crowdsourcing initiative dubbed "Draft 3.0." The Kings owe the Toronto Raptors their second-round pick, so if they move No. 8 perhaps the franchise will wait another year before utilizing said advice.
