June 17, 1994 stands as one of the most infamous days in sports history. The New York Rangers took to the streets in a parade to celebrate their Stanley Cup championship. Arnold Palmer played his final round at the US Open. And the NBA Finals were set to continue with Game 5 between the New York Knicks and the Houston Rockets. But all that was overshadowed by the shocking developments that led to a police chase of former NFL legend and entertainment personality O.J. Simpson.

What follows is an annotated chronology of the events of that day as it pertains to the O.J. Simpson chase, and Game 5 of the NBA Finals, as we continue our look at the Forgotten Finals by CBSSports.com's Ken Berger.
