The Cleveland Cavaliers want David Blatt to be their next head coach, according to Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

Blatt, who recently stepped down as the head coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv, is also being courted by Steve Kerr to be his lead assistant with the Golden State Warriors. He and Kerr share the same agent, Mike Tannenbaum.

At a press conference last month, Cavaliers general manager David Griffin spoke of restoring the balance between defense and offense after the failed Mike Brown experiment. Blatt is renowned for the way he coaches offense.

If Cleveland can't come to an agreement with Blatt, it sounds like it will go to Clippers assistant coach Tyronn Lue.
