2014 NBA Draft: Grizzlies get a F+ for picking Jordan Adams at No. 22

By James Herbert | NBA writer

The Memphis Grizzlies selected UCLA guard Jordan Adams with the No. 22 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.

The 6-5, 220-pound Adams averaged 19.0 points and 5.9 assists per game in 2013-14 for the Bruins, who finished 28-9 and lost to Florida in the Sweet 16.

The Grizzlies badly wanted a shooter, and that's what Adams is. Memphis will have to cover for him if he has trouble guarding more athletic wings, though, and there were other options available.
