In regards to a decision for Knicks free agent forward Carmelo Anthony, a source said: "It's coming... Not today."— Marc J. Spears (@SpearsNBAYahoo) July 11, 2014
The dominoes are going to fall soon after James' decision, but it looks like Anthony isn't ready to announce anything yet. He is still considering the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls, CBSSports.com's Ken Berger reported.
Anthony is confident in Knicks president Phil Jackson's plan to reshape the roster, but doesn't want to go through what he did last season, which was a 37-win disaster. The Bulls would give him a chance to compete now. The Lakers would give him essentially a blank slate. The final word should come soon, but it looks like it'lll wait until the James noise has died down a bit.
