LeBron James has already spoken to Mike Miller about joining him with the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst. Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski had previously reported that James reached out to Miller and another veteran free agent last week about the possibility of coming with him if he left the Miami Heat.
The Cavaliers roster could use some more shooting, particularly with the departure of C.J. Miles to the Indiana Pacers. Miller, who made 46 percent of his three-point attempts with the Memphis Grizzlies last season, would address that need as well as just about anyone on the planet. It's an added bonus that he's close with James, and the same can be said for Ray Allen and James Jones, two Heat free agents the Cavs are also reportedly interested in adding to the team.
Miller reportedly had interest from the Thunder, Nuggets and Grizzlies, but perhaps the James factor will make his decision an easy one. Talks with Denver have ceased and he's "exploring every option to try to reunite with LeBron James in Cleveland," according to ESPN's Marc Stein. Also, check out the framed jersey at the bottom here:
