Anthony Morrow has agreed to join the Thunder, giving Oklahoma City a 3-point shooter and depth on the wing. Story coming soon.— Darnell Mayberry (@DarnellMayberry) July 12, 2014
Morrow is the kind of knock down shooter they've been looking for. He's a career 43 percent three-point shooter, and shot 45 percent from three last season with New Orleans. The Thunder offense was heavily criticized for not having enough weapons around Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant on the perimeter. The question is defense. Morrow has long arms and gives good effort but had bad defensive instincts. He's also struggled to stay on the floor in five different stops with teams. Can he get along better with Scott Brooks and earn floor time? If he can, the Thunder's offense, already a juggernaut, could get better.
