Chandler Parsons has been added to USA Basketball's player pool and will compete for a spot on Team USA's 12-man roster for the FIBA World Cup this summer, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. Team USA will hold a training camp in Las Vegas in late July.

This news comes on the same day that Parsons learned he will be joining the Dallas Mavericks, as the Houston Rockets surprisingly elected not to match his three-year, $46 million offer sheet.

Parsons has long been underrated and underpaid. Both of these things are changing rather rapidly.
