Donald Sterling has filed another lawsuit in Superior court today against Shelly and NBA. His attorney said a ruling may not come for years.— Arash Markazi (@ArashMarkazi) July 23, 2014
Sterling's lawsuit is scheduled to end on July 28. If the judge in the case has not issued a ruling by Aug. 15, the offer for the team from Steve Ballmer expires and the league intends to pursue termination of ownership proceedings against Sterling and auction the team. There's been no indication yet of what this second suit would do to the proceedings. Either way, Donald Sterling's still refusing to go quietly in this whole messy ordeal.
