VIDEO: Spain's Rudy Fernandez to Serge Ibaka for the fun dunk

By Zach Harper | NBA writer

Spain poses the biggest competition to USA Basketball in the FIBA World Cup for three reasons. The first reason is they have home court advantage with the tournament happening in Spain. The second reason is Team USA will be without LeBron James, Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Love, Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and now Kevin Durant this summer. The third reason is Spain is really talented and has been the best non-US team the past six years.

Showing off a little of that talent in an exhibition against Angola, Rudy Fernandez dropped a between-the-legs bounce pass to Serge Ibaka for the dunk plus the foul. Ibaka has been recovering from a calf injury that possibly ruined the Thunder's playoffs, and he looks to be in pretty good shape by pulling off plays like that. We should have a fun FIBA World Cup starting August 30.
