The NBA will officially announce its 2014-2015 schedule on Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET, but through several reports we know what the league's Christmas schedule will look like. A rundown:

1. New York Knicks vs. Washington Wizards

Christmas Day at MSG. Even though the Knicks won't be contenders in the East, this is tradition. The up-and-coming Wizards have earned themselves some more national attention after advancing to the second round last year and adding Paul Pierce this summer. (Via the New York Daily News.)

2. Chicago Bulls vs. Los Angeles Lakers

Don't even bother getting upset about the boring Lakers playing on Christmas. They always do, so this was obviously going to happen. Let's call it the Pau Gasol Revenge Game, and hope Derrick Rose gives us a highlight or two. (Via ESPN.)

3. Miami Heat vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

This is the main event, with LeBron James returning to Miami. How will the Heat handle it? Will there be a tribute video? There will probably be a mix of cheers and boos, and it'll be fascinating to see how the two teams' records stack up two months into the season. (Via the Miami Herald.)

4. Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors

These two teams hate each other, which is always fun, and it's a rematch of last Christmas at Oracle. Reminder: Blake Griffin and Draymond Green were ejected, Stephen Curry went off down the stretch and the Warriors won by two. Good call, NBA. (Via the LA Times.)

5. San Antonio Spurs vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

Again, damn fine scheduling. The champs should be the hosts on Christmas, and who better to face them than the team many experts predict will dethrone them? The Thunder swept San Antonio in the regular season last year, and they probably believe they would have made it to the NBA Finals if Serge Ibaka was healthy against the Spurs. (Via the Oklahoman.)
