CBS wire reports

ATLANTA -- Joe Johnson scored 22 points with four assists, Zaza Pachulia scored 18 points, and Marvin Williams added 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Atlanta to a 91-81 exhibition win over Miami on Saturday night.

Antoine Walker led the defending NBA champion Heat (0-2) with 17 points and 12 rebounds, and Udonis Haslem added 16 points and nine rebounds.

After dropping its Oct. 10 exhibition opener 84-64 to Detroit in Puerto Rico, Miami rested three starters -- Alonzo Mourning, Gary Payton and Dwyane Wade. Shaquille O'Neal played 18 minutes, scoring nine points.

With Jason Williams recovering from surgery to repair tendinitis in his right knee and not expected to be available until mid-November, Miami is looking for a backup point guard. Chris Quinn, undrafted out of Notre Dame, started and played 30 minutes, contributing six assists, two rebounds and five points.

Atlanta (2-1) led 50-40 with 1:45 left in the first half.

Shelden Williams, the Hawks' top pick in the 2006 draft, scored two points while committing three fouls in 18 minutes in the first half. He scored two points and picked up a fourth foul in the second half.
