New Jersey at Toronto

Tucker, Raptors edge Nets, stay unbeaten in preseason

CBS wire reports

TORONTO -- P.J. Tucker had 18 points and six other Raptors reached double figures in Toronto's 119-110 victory over the New Jersey Nets on Sunday in a game delayed six minutes by a power outage.

Nets rookie Marcus Williams had 16 points and nine assists. Vince Carter had 10 points against his former team, playing his first preseason game for the Nets after missing two games with bruised ribs.

Five minutes of the fourth quarter were played with dimmed lights after a power outage hit Toronto's downtown area. Players lingered on the court for a few minutes before coaches decided to play with the dimmed lights.

Toronto led 98-96 when the lights went out.

T.J. Ford added 11 assists and 10 points for the Raptors, who played with out All-Star forward Chris Bosh (sore left heel).

Toronto is 3-0 in the preseason while New Jersey is 0-3.

Three years ago, a Raptor preseason game was called with a minute left after a power outage.
