CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Gilbert Arenas scored 18 points and Antawn Jamison added 17 to lead the Washington Wizards over the Charlotte Bobcats 100-84 in a preseason game Tuesday night.

Brendan Haywood added 12 rebounds for the Wizards (3-2), who outrebounded Charlotte 60-55.

Gerald Wallace scored 17 points for the Bobcats (0-4), and Raymond Felton added 13 points and eight assists.

Andray Blatche hit a jumper in the final minute of the third quarter to put Washington up 72-70 and the Wizards scored the first eight points of the fourth.

A dunk by Ryan Hollins brought the Bobcats within three with six minutes remaining, but they couldn't get any closer.

The game, played at the University of North Carolina, was a homecoming for Felton, Charlotte's Sean May, Jamison and Washington's Brendan Haywood. Felton and May helped lead the Tar Heels to the 2005 national championship, and Jamison reached two Final Fours and was National Player of the Year at UNC in 1998.

Haywood also played on two Final Four teams for the Heels.
