The Knicks (4-1) placed six players in double figures, made 13 of 24 3-pointers and shot 55.1 percent overall. They are averaging 106.2 points in the preseason after scoring 95.6 per game last season.
Steve Francis scored all 13 of his points in the first half for New York. Quentin Richardson had 12, Mardy Collins finished with 11 and Eddy Curry had 10.
The 76ers played without Allen Iverson and the Knicks held Stephon Marbury out. Iverson has a sprained left hand and Marbury is bothered by a sore right foot.
Kyle Korver and Chris Webber scored 17 points each for Philadelphia (2-4).
Francis had his best game of the preseason in Marbury's absence. He drew a foul on Rick Brunson on a layup and converted the three-point play to give the Knicks a 55-38 lead with 4:14 left in the second quarter.
After Rodney Carney connected on a jumper for the Sixers, Francis found Renaldo Balkman for a dunk with 3:40 remaining in the half.
Francis also had six assists against only one turnover as the Knicks led 61-46 at the break. He had a total of 17 points in his first two preseason games.
The Sixers cut it to 78-68 late in the third quarter, but Robinson made a 3-pointer to put New York up by 13.
Steven Hunter had 12 points and Kevin Ollie and Louis Williams each had 10 for the Sixers, who shot 52 percent from the field.
