2014 NBA Draft: Toronto Raptors get a D for picking Bruno Caboclo at No. 20
With the No. 20 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Toronto Raptors selected Bruno Caboclo out of Brazil.
Raptors: Grade: D: Sure? 6-9. Versatile. If he's a steal, it's another Masai Ujiri score. ... I have no idea.— Matt Moore CBS (@MattMooreCBS) June 27, 2014
This is an absolutely shocking pick, as he might not come over right away and he was never, ever, ever projected to go in the first round. This is sort of like the Giannis Antetkounmpo pick last year, except with zero hype whatsoever. He is long and full of potential.
The Raptors must have thought someone would have taken him before their No. 37 pick.
