Cavaliers GM David Griffin said Wednesday on the Jim Rome Show that there isn't a surefire No. 1 pick in this draft, that they're all flawed.

“This is a deeper draft at the top than the last few, but it’s also not the year where you go ‘Oh, Tim Duncan’s in the draft I’ll take him,’” Griffin told The Jim Rome Show. “Everybody has made a lot of hype about this draft as though you can’t possibly fail and there are still question marks on all of these guys.”

This has been the knock on the draft for months, that it lacks an elite player at any spot, that there are no "gamechangers."

Yet Andrew Wiggins' supremely high upside, Jabari Parker's combination of skills, Joel Embiid's unbelievable potential, all let you think they could be that level of player. And still, it's very possible that with three No. 1 picks in the past four years, this year's could be the best the Cavaliers draft.

Or maybe we should defer to the Cavaliers on the quality of No. 1 picks. After all, they have the most experience.
