Matt Moore and I sit down and discuss the day's events, including Anthony Davis' concussion, Mike Brown's son receiving death threats on Twitter, and we preview tonight's games.
The idea of concussions happening in sports has been a hot topic in every sport over the last few years. Brain injuries are being studied like never before and an emphasis on the severity of them has never been greater. So what does it mean to have a concussion in the NBA? Is it as serious as other sports? Was Monty Williams correct in his comments?
Then we get to the issue of Mike Brown's son, Elijah Brown, receiving death threats on Twitter because the Lakers started off 1-4. What's great about this discussion is it happened a couple of hours before Mike Brown was fired from the Lakers, so it should be SUPER relevant and timely. That last bit was sarcasm.
After that, we preview tonight's games.
