CBSSports.com Basketball Podcast: Yeah, I guess that's swag
Zach Harper and Matt Moore have some tea and discuss the Mike D'Antoni press conference, Nuggets-Heat and the Knicks' undefeated nature. Also, we don't have tea.
After a big weekend of basketball, Matt Moore joins me to talk about the weekend that was and where we stand with the top team in the NBA. And yes, that top team is currently the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Memphis Grizzlies have won eight straight games, including a victory over the then-undefeated New York Knicks on Friday. The Grizzlies had a stretch against the Miami Heat, Oklahoma City Thunder, and New York Knicks in which they won all three games by double digits. So how sustainable is the Grizzlies' current run? How do they look in the grand scheme of the top teams in the NBA? Is Zach Randolph capable of being stopped?
We also discuss Matt's fantastic post on Shane Battier from this weekend. Battier talks about defending in the NBA, the toughest system to go against, and how it's going with the Miami Heat playing small ball in the NBA.
Also, I went to a GWAR concert Sunday and was completely terrified. There's fun for the entire family!
