Clippers sign No. 25 overall pick Reggie Bullock
Reggie Bullock, who shot 43.6 percent on 3-pointers at North Carolina last season, is officially a Clipper.
A 6-foot-7 swingman out of North Carolina, Bullock left school after a junior year in which he averaged 13.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.3 steals.
The team’s third-leading scorer, he shot 43.6 percent from deep. Bullock's 88 3-pointers were the third-most in a single season in UNC history.
“We love his shot,” coach Doc Rivers said at a press conference. “We love his size. Shooting in our league is huge. He can do that. He can do more than that. I think you’ll be surprised with his defense.”
Bullock said the Clippers are familiar with his strengths and that he's just going to play his game.
“They’ve seen so much film on me that they know what I’m capable of doing, which is shooting the ball and defending," he said. "So I’m just going to try to be hectic on defense and try to knock down shots when they come to me.”
Bullock will earn about $1 million as a rookie under the NBA salary scale.
