For the first time since they won the NBA Finals last year, the Golden State Warriors will return to Cleveland on Monday to take on the Cavs. The two teams have already met once this season, playing in Oakland on Christmas Day in a game the Warriors won 89-83. However, the Warriors won the deciding Game 6 of the Finals in Cleveland, so Monday's game is a bit more sentimental for Golden State.

In fact, Stephen Curry is so excited about returning to Cleveland that he hopes the visiting locker room at Quicken Loans Arena still smells like the champagne the Warriors sprayed inside it after they won the Finals last year.

"Obviously, walking in the locker room, it'll be good memories," Curry told reporters on Sunday via Diamond Leung of The Bay Area News Group. "Hopefully, it still smells a little bit like champagne."

While months old champagne can't have a pleasant smell to it, you can understand Curry's excitement. Cleveland was where the Warriors hoisted up the Larry O'Brien trophy for the first time, so it is a place filled with good memories.

Of course, Quicken Loans Arena is also the Cavs' homecourt and they will be looking to protect it, getting some small measure of revenge in the process if they are able to beat the Warriors on Monday.

A happy memory for Steph and the Warriors.
