Derrick Rose denies rape allegations: 'I know the truth'
Bulls guard says he will not comment but is confident he'll be proven innocent.

Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose responded himself Thursday to allegations from a woman filed in civil court this week, accusing him of sexual assault and gang rape. From the Chicago Tribune:
"I am just focusing on staying healthy and getting ready for the season," Rose said. "I am not going to comment other than to say: I know the truth, and am confident I will be proven innocent."

A spokesperson for Rose called the allegations "outrageous" on Wednesday night after TMZ first reported the suit.
The alleged incidents occurred in 2013 according to court documents reported on by Sporting News. The woman is seeking a money judgment for lost wages and mental anguish.
