Chicago star returns to practice after missing Saturday's game in Rio, Brazil.
Thibodeau said DRose and Noah practiced fully. At this point, expects them to play Wednesday.— K.C. Johnson (@KCJHoop) October 14, 2013
Rose saying same stuff today he said Saturday in Rio. Could've played. Front office held him out. Etc. Is it season opener yet?— K.C. Johnson (@KCJHoop) October 14, 2013
Rose told reporters that he could have played, but management shut him down. We discussed how management is being aggressively cautious on Sunday. (Leave it to Bulls management to be "aggressively cautious.")
So how long is the subject going to be a nervous one? Well, for a while. Every time Rose has knee soreness, or misses practice or a game, there will be some baited breath in the Windy City and elsewhere for a bit. In time, without further injury, this will fade. But it's going to take a little while for things to get back to normal.
