Not able to travel home to Chicago, Derrick Rose spent his Thanksgiving holiday with Knicks teammate Carmelo Anthony. And apparently since Rose was coming over, an invitation was also extended to Bulls guard and one of Anthony's good friends, Dwyane Wade, and his wife Gabrielle Union.

But Rose was already in New York, so it was easy for him to travel to Anthony's. Wade on the other hand, was in Philadelphia to take on the 76ers on Friday, so he had to do some serious traveling to attend Anthony's soiree.

But Wade had a solution. According to ESPN's Nick Friedell, Wade and his wife Gabrielle Union took a helicopter from Philadelphia on Thursday to make it on time for Anthony's Thanksgiving feast.

Holiday traffic can be brutal, especially on the I-95 corridor from New York City to Philadelphia, so smart thinking by Wade to take a chopper. However it is also just the ultimate cool guy way to attend Thanksgiving at a friend's house. And Wade as well know is a cool guy.

When friends are family!!! Thank you to the Anthony's for sharing another thanksgiving with us.

But with a game against the Sixers, Wade needed to take a helicopter as it was the quickest form of transportation. And now Wade is back in time for the Bulls to close out their annual circus trip against the Sixers.

A win against Philadelphia would give Chicago a winning circus trip record for only the third time since the 1997-98 season, which was Michael Jordan's last year with the team.
