Suns guard Eric Bledsoe will miss time with a sprained knee, the team announced Saturday. He's scheduled to be re-evaluated in a week's time.

Losing Bledsoe is a pretty big deal for the surprising Suns, despite their having Goran Dragic to man the point guard position. Bledsoe is averaging 18 points and 5.3 assists this season for Phoenix, often playing alongside Dragic in dual-point-guard lineups. Gerald Green is expected to move into the starting lineup in his spot.

The Suns host Milwaukee Saturday night before starting off on five-game road trip, with five games within the week. They do face an undermanned Bulls and Grizzlies team, along with a trip to Minnesota against the Wolves and a visit to the inconsistent Pistons. It's not a murderer's row, but a schedule set to challenge them without Bledsoe.
