Eric Bledsoe returns to starting lineup for Suns
After coming off the bench for Phoenix, explosive guard Eric Bledsoe returns to the starting unit.
With the Suns flailing, having fallen out of the 8th seed and 3-7 in their last 10, the team is making an aggressive move, returning Eric Bledsoe, who came back from knee surgery last week, into the starting lineup.
Eric Bledsoe will return to the starting lineup for #SunsAtCeltics tonight. Gerald Green comes off the bench. P.J. Tucker starts again too.— Paul Coro (@paulcoro) March 14, 2014
The starting unit of Bledsoe-Dragic-Tucker-Frye-Plumlee is plus-11.1 per 48 minutes in 247 minutes over 19 games this season. So there's a reason to go with it to start. So there's a reason to go with this. The big key will be an improvement on the defensive end. The last 10 games, Phoenix is allowing over 113 points per 100 possessions, a nightmarish number compared to their season average of 104.3.
We'll see if the lineup change gets Phoenix right Friday vs. Boston.
