Ex-wife of Dwyane Wade arrested in child abduction attempt

Dwyane Wade is battling age, injuries and a shooting slump in these NBA Finals. But those problems pale in comparison to what's happening on his home front.

TMZ reports Wade's ex-wife was arrested last weekend in an attempt to abduct the children from Wade's custody. Wade won primary custody in his divorce from the woman in 2010:

A rep for the Cook County Sheriffs Office released a statement saying, "Siohvaughn Funches-Wade was charged with two counts of attempted child abduction, two counts of unlawful visitation interference and one count of resisting arrest. "Funches-Wades' bond was set at $10,000 ... which she posted. She's set to appear in court again in August.

Wade is reportedly seeking removal of her partial custody rights as a result of the incident.

It's got to be hard on Wade to have this happening, ever, but especially in the midst of preparing for a Finals series. But the really hard part here is the kids, not only dealing with this confusing situation, but having it played out in public.

There's just nothing good about this situation.
