Eye on Basketball Podcast: Digging your own grave
Zach Harper and Matt Moore discuss the Bradley Beal injury, Derrick Williams headed to the Kings, and preview tonight's games.
Matt Moore joins the podcast to discuss a couple of young guys in flux. Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards is out at least two weeks with a stress injury in the same fibula that knocked him out of the end of his rookie season. Does it make you more worried that it's in the same bone but a different area of the bone? Do the Wizards survive this with the addition of Otto Porter or will they struggle to replace his scoring? Will it matter in the East because they'll stay competitive with the terrible conference?
The Minnesota Timberwolves have traded Derrick Williams to the Sacramento Kings for Luc Richard Mbah a Moute. Is that selling too low for the Wolves? Will Williams be able to thrive in Sacramento or is this another bad fit for him? Is Mbah a Moute a good enough pickup for the Wolves? Do they still have issues with the bench that need to be addressed through a trade?
We discuss all of that, plus grave-digging for cardio, last night's games, and preview Tuesday's action.
