Eye on Basketball Podcast: Get in them pockets
Zach Harper and Matt Moore discuss the J.R. Smith-Brandon Jennings Twitter beef, fallout of Clippers-Thunder, and preview tonight's games.
Matt Moore joins me today to talk about getting in them pockets. We've got some Twitter beef between J.R. Smith of the New York Knicks and Brandon Jennings of the Detroit Pistons over J.R.'s brother Chris Smith being in the league. Does Jennings have a point about Smith being in the league over guys like Bobby Brown and Pooh Jeter? Did J.R. actually threaten Jennings on Twitter? Is "getting in them pockets" an actual thing?
There was a bit of a scuffle in the game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Los Angeles Clippers. Did Serge Ibaka deserve to be ejected for making a fist but not throwing it? Did that ejection keep the Thunder from winning that game? Do the Clippers just do this to people? What did Matt Barnes mean with his tweet after the game? Matt has a 12-player, three-team deal between the Thunder, Grizzlies, and Sixers. Does it make sense?
We discuss those items, plus review the rest of last night's action, worry about the Nets and Grizzlies, and preview tonight's games.
