Eye on Basketball Podcast: Is it OK to go for the kill?
Zach Harper and Matt Moore discuss the Pacers surviving LeBron James' decision in Game 5, the Spurs trying to regain the advantage against the Thunder, and much more.
Matt Moore joins me on today's podcast to discuss the chaos of the Conference finals. The Indiana Pacers survived Game 5 at home against the Miami Heat thanks to a missed shot by Chris Bosh late in the game that could have ended their season. That shot came off of LeBron James drawing two defenders and then kicking to Bosh in the corner for the go-ahead shot. Was it the right basketball decision? Didn't LeBron go for the kill like we want stars to do? Do we still really need to debate decisions like this?
With the Western Conference finals, the San Antonio Spurs are recalibrating after losing their 2-0 series lead after two games in Oklahoma City. The Oklahoma City Thunder are back to using their athletic advantage and they have the chance to keep that going like it's been for two years. How do the Spurs counteract this? Should Spurs fans actually be worried? Will the home court advantage save them? Can the Thunder make changes to the lineup to keep that advantage going?
We discuss all of this, plus Lance Stephenson's antics, preview tonight's game, and much more.
