Eye on Basketball Podcast: Kobe coming back? Get excited
Zach Harper and Matt Moore talk about Kobe Bryant coming back soon, the Players Union circus, and go over your suggested tag lines for the podcast.
Matt Moore joins me to start getting ready for Kobe Bryant's return. He's medically cleared to resume all basketball activities and the schedule shapes up nicely to get him ready for a Friday game on national television. Will he actually return that night? If he does, what can we expect from him this season? If he doesn't play much defense and saves up his energy for offense, is that a bad thing? Should we penalize players as much as we do for this type of role?
There has also been some more noise from the NBPA with a new discovery that involves the phrase "willful defrauding." That's never a good thing to be involved with in any way. What does this mean for the union as they move forward? Does it make sense that they were hammered so much in the last lockout and can they expect that moving forward? Or will their new leadership learn from past mistakes?
We discuss all of that, plus the Nets are still struggling, preview tonight's games, and read your tagline for the Eye on Basketball Podcast.
