Eye on Basketball Podcast: Let's get physical
Zach Harper and Matt Moore discuss the physical/dirty play from Nuggets-Warriors, the Grizzlies' big win, and preview Wedneday night's action.
I'm joined by Matt Moore to talk about the cheap shots that he has been giving around the blogosphere. Actually, we're talking about Mark Jackson's accusations of the Denver Nuggets' cheap shots on Stephen Curry and the "mole" that he apparently has from the Denver side telling him these things. After the Golden State Warriors lost Game 5 in Denver on Tueday night, they now have to figure out how to shake free of the physical play and good defense the Nuggets showed in Game 5 if they want to win the series. So, should we talk about their defense or the "dirty play" accusations?
We also get into the Memphis Grizzlies' huge win over the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 5 on Tuesday night. Now that they have the series in their hands, how will they respond in Game 6? More importantly, how will the Clippers react? Is Blake Griffin going to be healthy enough to be a factor for the Clippers? Will they be able to run more offense and not just wait for Chris Paul to score? And is Mike Conley's play too underrated, even at this point?
We discuss all of that, plus preview Wednesday night's games.
