Eye on Basketball Podcast: Over/Under on us being wrong
Zach Harper and Matt Moore discuss the fan experience in Brooklyn, go over our preseason over/under picks at the midway point, and preview tonight's games.
We're at the halfway point in the season this week and Matt Moore joins me to go over our preseason over/under picks for all 30 teams based on the betting odds. Before we dive deep into that topic, we start talking about the LeBron James vs. Kevin Durant debate. This debate is really ramping up because of Durant's seemingly historic play since Russell Westbrook went down. Is there a certain way we should be weighing these performances against each other? Does it make Durant better than James? Should we just sit back, watch, and enjoy the show?
Then we jump into our over/under picks from the preseason. With the Miami Heat seemingly coasting through the middle of the season, do we feel good about picking the under on them? How off were we on the Chicago Bulls and with a healthy Derrick Rose, would it have made a difference? The Phoenix Suns have made us look foolish but will the Philadelphia 76ers follow suit? Did we nail the top of the Western Conference outside of the Golden State Warriors?
We discuss all of that, plus the fan experience in Brooklyn, watching tennis at all hours of the night, and preview tonight's games.
