Eye on Basketball Podcast: Spurs' streak, Big Al's All-NBA candidacy

Ethan Sherwood Strauss joins me on today's podcast to discuss the impressive anonymity of the San Antonio Spurs' success. With them on a 19-game winning streak heading into Thursday night's game against the Thunder, we still aren't really talking all tha much about the Spurs and what Gregg Popovich has them doing every year. Is it the market? Is it by design? Who is the key to them getting a fifth championship? Is it Kawhi Leonard or Manu Ginobili?

The Charlotte Bobcats have started a brilliant campaign to get Al Jefferson voted to an All-NBA team. While a first or second team isn't likely to house Jefferson's season, there is a legitimate argument for putting Jefferson on the third team. Has he done enough defensively? With that team pairing him with Josh McRoberts and being a top 10 defense, can he really be that bad defensively? Would you take him over Marc Gasol, Chris Bosh, or Roy Hibbert this season?

We discuss all of this, plus the Indiana Pacers vs. the West, Capes of Lies, and much more.
