Eye on Basketball Podcast: Your 2014 NBA champion Spurs

Matt Moore joins me on today's podcast to congratulate the San Antonio Spurs on their 2014 NBA championship and review the 2013-14 NBA season. The Spurs rolled the Miami Heat in a very impressive fashion in the 2014 NBA Finals by playing exquisite basketball and just being better than everybody else. Did the Heat have a chance? Did LeBron James perform poorly? How do we judge Dwyane Wade's performance? Are the Spurs the best run team in professional sports? If that series is played 100 times, do the Spurs win almost every time?

The 2013-14 season was tough in terms of the injuries to key players like Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose, and others. However, we did have some good moments and the overall playoffs were incredible. What do we take away from the season? How can teams get better this offseason? What will be the keys to the offseason?

We discuss all of this, plus Derrick Rose possibly playing for Team USA, LeBron James' latest decision, and the 2014 NBA Draft.
