San Francisco and the surrounding areas are one of the most expensive places to live in the country. From rent to food, the cost of living is San Francisco is often greater than a place like New York City. So it shouldn't be too surprising that tickets to Game 7 of the Western Conference finals between the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder in Oakland are ridiculously expensive.

Tickets are so outrageously expensive that according to ESPN's Darren Rovell, a fan purchased two tickets courtside tickets for a total of $58,000. Rovell also reports that the Warriors sold out of tickets within minutes of putting them up for sale:

The Warriors put the few remaining tickets on sale Sunday night, with prices ranging from $230 to $2,150. They sold out in less than five minutes.

Those prices did not include any floor seats, which were sold out. But someone did go to the Warriors' resale site, run by Ticketmaster, and purchased two floor seats for $29,000 each.

Fans clearly want to attend the game and are willing to pay as much as they can to be part of history. And while $58,000 is an absurd amount of money to spend to watch a game you can watch for free on television, considering all of the storylines heading into Monday night, it could end up being well worth it for the buyer, especially since Game 7 will be an once-in-a-lifetime experience.
