Harrison Barnes wants to be in the dunk contest
Harrison Barnes is an impressive dunker. So he wants to show that off All-Star Weekend.
Harrison Barnes can dunk. But he wants to dunk, if you know what I mean.
(I mean he wants to be in the dunk contest.)

Barnes has proven to be one of the league's better in-game dunkers, which is something we don't get a lot of at All-Star Weekend. Typically, it's guys with big verticals, impressive length and supreme athleticism that get the nod. Not that Barnes doesn't have those features, but the league often leans on players that have the credentials to dunk, not necessarily guys that are known for posters.
The dunk contest has become more about creativity than anything else, but Barnes has just raw power and athleticism, something fans claim to want to see more of. Barnes is mostly a straightforward dunker. He's big at 6-foot-8, can leap and can finish. So if he's included, he'd definitely be a popular choice.
Let Harrison dunk.
