Kevin Garnett (back spasms) out at least next three games
The Nets will be without Kevin Garnett for at least the rest of this week, and then will have him reevaluated.
Kevin Garnett has quietly missed the last nine games because of back spasms, and according to Jason Kidd on Monday, he'll miss at least three more this week.
Garnett will miss Monday's game against the Suns, Wednesday against the Bobcats and Friday against the Celtics.
Kidd said there hasn't been a setback for Garnett, but that it's just been a day-to-day situation where he hasn't improved enough to play. The team says Garnett will then be re-evaluated to determine whether he'll travel with the team on Saturday.
Without Garnett in the last eight games, the Nets are 6-2.
Garnett, 37, is averaging 6.7 points and 6.7 rebounds in 49 games this season.
