NBA Daily Picks: Twisted Thursday
Daily NBA picks against the spread including Rockets-Knicks and Thunder-Warriors.
Wednesday results: 4-8 and it was brutal. The Lakers were +10, finish +12 after being in the game for most of it. Orlando couldn't hold on to separation from the Bucks who were on a back to back, the Rockets blew it vs the Sixers (though I told you to stay away from that one). Boston still sucks, the Hawks did the stupidest things imaginable late in their loss, and New Orleans just hates itself. Rough night.
Monday: 4-8 YTD: 61-58-3.
LOCK IT UP
FAVORITE: Warriors (-4.5)
PICK: Warriors cover
Oklahoma City is on a road West Coast back-to-back against the most explosive team in the Western Conference right now. Yes, they'll be pissed about a loss to the Clippers they gave away when Serge Ibaka was ejected, but they're headed into Roaracle, and when Golden State wins, they win big. The Warriors' bench is a mess, but the Thunder's bench isn't gangbusters either, and teams that have to rely on two guys as much as the Thunder do are going to struggle with endurance in this kind of environment. Lay the points.
DANGER WILL ROBINSON, DANGER
GAME: Rockets at Knicks
FAVORITE: Rockets (-3.5)
PICK: STAY AWAY!
The Knicks are dogs here after winning on the road vs Atlanta to get their confidence back while James Harden's status is up in the air for Houston and the Rockets lost to the Sixers Wednesday night. There's all sorts of reasons to stay away from this one. The Knicks beat the Bobcats to "right themselves" then got blown away at home by the Spurs. They can't be trusted night to night, and neither can the Rockets. Avoid like the plague.
