Free agent Paul Millsap has agreed to join the Denver Nuggets on a three-year deal worth $90 million, according to Matt Moore of CBS Sports. The third year of the deal is a team option. Shams Charania of The Vertical was first to report the agreement.
Millsap, who was ranked No. 6 on our list of top free agents this offseason, spent the last four seasons in Atlanta where he was a four-time All-Star and an NBA All-Defensive Second Team player in 2016.
The 31-year-old averaged 18.1 points and 7.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game last season. He will join forces as a veteran presence alongside a talented young Nuggets core centered around rising center Nikola Jokic and sharpshooter Jamal Murray.
