Nightly Grades: Hawks vs. Bucks was your best game tonight

Each night, Eye on Basketball brings you what you need to know about the games of the NBA. From great performances to terrible clock management the report card evaluates and eviscerates the good, the bad, and the ugly from the night that was.

TeamGradeAnalysis
A+ This was a complete team effort of domination by the Chicago Bulls. They were in control of the game pretty much from start to finish and just took away everything the Houston Rockets like to do. They hit more 3-pointers (14) than they turned the ball over (eight). They had 35 assists to the Rockets' 28 made shots. Just completely dominated a really good team.
F- I don't mean to take away anything from what the Bulls did Thursday night, but can you really say the Rockets tried hard in this game? It sure didn't look like it. Just a pathetic display of execution and effort by Houston. They're much better than that.
B In the game of the night (no seriously), the Atlanta Hawks rode Jeff Teague and Paul Millsap to victory while pouring in 44.8 percent of their 3-pointers. Teague turned the ball over a lot (seven times) but his 22 points and eight assists were enough to give Atlanta the edge. Kyle Korver helped secure the victory with 12 fourth quarter points.
C+ The Milwaukee Bucks put up a pretty solid road effort and nearly escaped with a win. Ersan Ilyasova (22 points) and Brandon Knight (20 points) carried the effort but nobody else could consistently step up. Jeff Adrien was probably their third best player in the game, which isn't ideal.
A If the Oklahoma City Thunder didn't score a single point in the second quarter but the rest of the game went as is, they would've beaten the Los Angeles Lakers by two points. Kevin Durant had his 30th straight game of at least 25 points, Russell Westbrook matched his total of 29 points, and this game was over within minutes of starting.
D- They managed to get six guys in double figures scoring. Does it matter which six guys? Not this season.
