Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki passed Oscar Robertson for tenth all-time in points Monday night, scoring 21 points to move past the Big O with 26,714 points. Robertson finished his career with 26,710.

Robertson, a 6-5 205 lb. guard out of Cincinnati averaged 25.7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 9.5 assists for his career in 1,040 career NBA games. He averaged a triple-double in four seasons. 

Nowitzki now trails No. 9 Hakeem Olajuwon who sits at 26,946 points by 233 points. 

After the game, Mark Cuban congratulated the player he built his franchise around over the past 15 years.

Nowitzki is averaging 48 percent shooting for his career, as a jumpshooter, which is just insane.
