Nuggets suspend Andre Miller two games for yelling at Brian Shaw
The Nuggets have suspended guard Andre Miller two games for yelling at head coach Brian Shaw.
And now he'll experience a two-game suspension, the team announced Thursday calling it "conduct detrimental to the team."
Apparently upset with his lack of playing time, Miller yelled at coach Brian Shaw on the bench with about five minutes left in the fourth quarter. Shaw addressed the matter postgame saying, "There's a time and place for everything. In the middle of the arena in front of everyone ... I just tried to calm it down."
Miller did not speak to reporters following the game.
Miller, 37, is averaging 5.9 points and 3.3 assists in 30 games this season.
The two best point guards in the East go at it in a series sure to be filled with drama.
