London is calling the Indiana Pacers and Denver Nuggets.
For the seventh straight year, the NBA is heading across the pond to play a regular-season game in the U.K.'s capital city of London. The game will take place on Jan. 12, 2017 and will feature the Pacers playing against the Nuggets -- a first for both teams as neither franchise has played in London before.
From the NBA:
The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) announced today that NBA Global Games London 2017 will feature the Denver Nuggets and Indiana Pacers travelling to London for a regular-season game at The O2 on Jan. 12, 2017. The announcement was made via Facebook Live from the NBA's European headquarters in London with Nuggets guard Gary Harris in attendance. The team logos were revealed in a specially commissioned piece of street art in Stockwell, London.

In addition to the oncourt action, NBA Global Games London 2017 will feature a variety of interactive fan activities, NBA Cares community outreach initiatives and Jr. NBA basketball programs that will bring the NBA experience to fans in London.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver:
"We are thrilled to return for our seventh regular-season game in London. With almost 25 percent of players in the NBA born outside of the United States, we are seeing firsthand the global growth of our game, which has never been more popular in the U.K."
The NBA's continued commitment to play games in London is all part of the league's plan to continue to grow the game internationally. Last season's contest between the Toronto Raptors and Orlando Magic was quite successful for the league and next season's game will likely also be, as the Brits say, a smashing success.
