Report: Austin Daye agrees to two-year deal with Raptors
The Raptors have agreed to a two-year deal with forward Austin Daye, according to a report.
Austin Daye is headed north.
The deal is reportedly worth $2 million.
The Raptors reached a buyout agreement with Marcus Camby to open up another roster spot recently, and they're now using it on a young, talented, but unfulfilled player in Daye.
Daye, 25, was drafted 15th overall by the Pistons in 2009 but was never able to find a footing in their rotation. He was traded to Memphis as part of the three-team Rudy Gay trade last deadline, but will now join Gay in Toronto.
In 55 games last season between the Grizzlies and Pistons he averaged 4.5 points and 2.2 rebounds.
