Report: Brandon Jennings punched by rapper during birthday party
New Pistons PG Brandon Jennings was reportedly punched in the mouth by rapper The Game after the two argued over who could use the deejay's microphone at a popular LA club.
New Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings was reportedly punched in the face by rapper The Game while Jennings was celebrating his birthday at a club in Los Angeles this past weekend, according to HipHollywood.
Jennings was apparently celebrating his 24th birthday at Lure in LA -- one of the rapper's favorite spots -- and got into it with The Game after the two argued over who could use the deejay's microphone.
"[The Game] didn't like that Jennings was hogging the microphone. He felt like he was being disrespected," a witness told HipHollywood. Things escalated and that's when Jennings reportedly got hit.
The former Bucks point guard was acquired by Detroit in a sign-and-trade this offseason that netted Jennings a three-year, $25 million deal.
The Pistons open their preseason in two weeks against Israel's Maccabi Haifa.
