Report: Grizzlies, Pondexter agree to four-year deal

The Memphis Commercial-Appeal reports that the Grizzlies have agreed on a four-year extension with forward Quincy Pondexter

The details on the deal aren't known yet, and they should be interesting. Pondexter has found a role specifically with Memphis, and they need to retain him as a defender who can actually shoot from the perimeter. He averaged six points and two rebounds last year for Memphis, but found a much bigger role after the Rudy Gay trade and in the playoffs. he finished with 13 points including 2-of-4 shooting from the perimeter in the Grizzlies' Wednesday night season opener loss to San Antonio.
