Reports: Michael Jordan marries Yvette Prieto on Saturday
The Greatest of All Time got hitched.
The GOAT is a married man again. Michael Jordan got hitched Saturday in Palm Beach, Fla. From the Miami Herald:
NBA legend and underwear pitchman Michael Jordan took Miami Cuban-American former model Yvette Prieto to be his second lawful and wedded wife Saturday afternoon in Palm Beach.
Jordan, 50, and Prieto, 35, were married before about 500 guests at the Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, a massive Gothic revival building in the heart of the ritzy island.
Among the dozens of relatives, friends and business associates of Jordan’s were other aging basketball stars, including former New York Knicks big man Patrick Ewing and former Chicago Bulls Scottie Pippen, Ron Harper and Toni Kukoc as well as NBA TV announcer Ahmad Rashad.
Wait, hold up. Toni Kukoc was at the wedding? The guy who caused a blood feud between Jordan and Jerry Krause?
Vibe.com reports the tent for the wedding was 40,000 square feet. I'm bad with spatial elements, but that sounds big.
You wonder if LeBron James and company were invited. Jordan only had a reported 2,000 guests with 1,500 invited to the reception.
Reportedly, Jordan in his vows talked about how previous girlfriends doubted he could get married again and then mocked them. (Note: Not really. But you'd believe it, right?)
