Spurs' Parker will play in Game 1
Tony Parker had been day-to-day with a hamstring sprain, but he'll be available for the Spurs when they start the conference finals.
Gregg Popovich just announced that Tony Parker participated in Sunday's practice and will play in Monday's Game 1 vs. OKC— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) May 18, 2014
Parker had been listed as day-to-day with a Grade 1 hamstring sprain suffered in San Antonio's Game 5 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, but the San Antonio Express-News reported that Parker could have played in the next game if Portland had avoided elimination.
The point guard is averaging 19.3 points and 4.9 assists per game in the playoffs. He's had a few days to rest, and it's worth monitoring if the injury has any ill effects when the conference finals get started.
